How It Works
Basic Listing

First of all, you need to register business and contact details. Once registered, you'll receive a confirming email. Next login to our website using the details provided. Use the administration facility to amend your listing details. Save your information and that's it. Thereafter, your business will be listed in the appropriate section of cornwallbooknow.co.uk and customers can contact you with the information you provide.
Online Booking

For those customers who choose our on line booking service, you simply select the booking option in your setup, and pay for the option. Then you can proceed to set up your booking information including rooms/units/activities, availability, rates, restrictions and any optional extras, etc. Customers will then be able to click on a Book Now icon in your listing. This will take them to a booking page (with CornwallBookNow headers and logos*). Once the booking is complete, you will be advised via email of the booking details, and the customer is also sent a confirmation email. This allows you to accept cheque payments if this is your preferred payment method.
*If you require your own headers and logos, see below for integration with current website.
Online Booking and Credit Card Validation

For our on line booking and credit card validation service, after you select this option and pay for it, you set the availability and rates as above. In addition, you set your deposit and payment type details for PayPal , Sage Pay , Google Checkout or WorldPay . Note you must have set up a PayPal/Protx/Google Checkout/WorldPay account prior to this step - for further information see PayPal, Sage Pay, Google Checkout or RBS WorldPay.
The customer makes a booking, and completes the booking by making a payment.
A booking notification is sent to you and confirmation is sent to the customer. You are also advised about the payment to your account from your service provider.
NOTE: Payments are made to your account directly. We do not receive the payments, nor do we process the credit card information - this is done via the secure servers of PayPal, Protx, Google Checkout or RBS WorldPay.

Enhanced Listing

In addition to setting up a basic listing, you may wish to set up header and logo displays on a separate page that the customer will see when making a booking and setting up for payments. We allow considerable flexibility in your setup.
Integration with current website (look and feel)
For those customers who already have a website, with a "look and feel" that they wish to carry forward into the booking (and credit card validation), we provide a service to carry the current websites "look and feel" into CornwallBookNow when the booking is being made. A link is provided from your website to CornwallBookNow, but the "look and feel" of your website is displayed during the booking process.
See it in action. Visit Golden Lion Inn and click on the Camping menu item. The site "looks like" the Golden Lion Inn website but the booking is being done by CornwallBookNow.
Of course, if you do have a website already, you can easily link to our site for booking (and credit card verification). In this case, the booking process will display the CornwallBookNow "look and feel". Contact Us for further details.
