Associations

CornwallBookNow includes the functionality to set up a "group" or "association" of businesses that is run as a separate entity.
This feature allows you to manage a group of businesses that do online booking and credit card authorisation.

  1. You register a business with CornwallBookNow specifying the business type of "association".
  2. You set up the features you will provide for members that join you - e.g. online booking with credit card authorisation.
  3. We set up a "look and feel" of your website in CornwallBookNow within which your members operate.
  4. We provide you with the link information you need to direct all your members/customers to "your" site. Your members/customers will see what appears to be your site but the actual work will be done in CornwallBookNow - i.e. the URL will be to CornwallBookNow.
  5. You invite members to register on "your" registration page.
  6. Your members login to "your" system.
  7. Listings of your members will automatically appear on the CornwallBookNow site as well as on your own site.
  8. Your members set up their availability and rate information.
  9. Customers clicking on a Book Now button will be redirected to CornwallBookNow but again, your logos will appear.
  10. For credit card authorisations, all payments for bookings go through your payment set up - i.e. payments are made to the association.
  11. Reports detail bookings made by your members.

In effect, the business looks like your business, but the "work" is being done by CornwallBookNow

Web Designers/Other groups

In addition to associations, this functionality is also suitable to Web Designers and others who want to offer a fully featured online booking system without having to reinvent code for them.

What are the "restrictions" of this approach?
In the first place, all your members use you as their point of contact. We will only deal with you on any issue. Thus questions about how to do things will be answered by you. You may not redirect questions from your customers to our technical support.
Your members "inherit" certain information from you. For example, your booking conditions and credit card payment facilities become the settings that your members use. They cannot set up their own booking and/or credit card authorisation.
All functionality apart from online booking and credit card authorisation that is chargeable and accepted by your members will be payable to us. For example, if a member decides to accept SMS messaging of bookings, then the charge will be payable to us. We will charge your members for any of these optional extras directly.

Your association must have a minimum membership of 15 businesses.

How much does this cost?
We will invoice you a fixed, first year fee. Thereafter, we will invoice you annually a fee based on a percentage of the normal charge we would make to your members (which is dependent on business size and business type - see our pricing).
Each Association requires its own setup, as well as having a variable number of members. As a result, we cannot fix a price until we've had a chance to discuss your requirements.
We will invoice you annually for the payment - i.e. payment is not made on-line.
